Paving Paths Forward

This March, Zwifters around the world are celebrating
the vital role women have played throughout sport history.
We’re paying homage to the rule-breakers, the trailblazers,
and to anyone who’s ever defied the status quo in order
to promote women’s equality.

Celebrating the

Past, Inspiring

the Future

This year, we’re celebrating Zwift’s heritage and dedication to investing in the growth and development of women in sport—including our four-year commitment as the headline sponsor of the Tour de France Femme.

Celebrating the

SOCIAL IMPACT PARTNERS

Zwift proudly partners with non-profit organizations committed to advocacy work in order to drive positive change and increase equity for traditionally marginalized communities. These partnerships empower both organizations to meet their goals for increasing diversity.

Women’s Sports Foundation

Zwift is donating $25,000 to the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF) to support its mission of unlocking the possibilities for every girl and woman through the power of sport. WSF is a leading voice driving equity in sport and has positively shaped millions of lives—from youth, high school, and collegiate student-athletes to pros and coaches.

The Cycle Effect

Zwift is also donating $25,000 to The Cycle Effect to support their mission of empowering young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and to build stronger, more active communities. They provide opportunities for girls to be engaged in regular, healthy programs that help build their self-esteem and promote overall wellness.

Zwift has selected two non-profit organizations to support in 2022. We are donating $25,000 to the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF) to support its mission of unlocking the possibilities for every girl and woman through the power of sport. WSF is a leading voice driving equity in sport and has positively shaped millions of lives—from youth, high school and collegiate student-athletes to pros and coaches. Zwift is also donating $25,000 to The Cycle Effect to support their mission to empower young women through mountain biking, create brighter futures, and build stronger communities. Over ⅔ of the young women participating in The Cycle Effect’s programs identify as Latina.

Additionally, Zwift has partnered with Latinas in Tech to connect, support, and empower its Latina employees and bring more diversity to tech.

Zwift is committed to growing cycling participation everywhere—especially amongst women. Our flagship program, Zwift Academy, first launched as a women-only initiative back in 2016. Since then it has helped catapult 6 women to the professional level. We’ve also committed to complete gender parity and, along with the ASO, delivered the first Virtual Women’s Tour de France in 2020—held on the same courses, covering the same distances, and with the same broadcast coverage as the men. In June of 2021, Zwift announced a 4-year partnership with the Tour de France Femmes with the inaugural event taking place in July 2022. Of course, we continue to champion women in sport with women-only community groups, group rides and runs, campaigns, and races.

The design of the 2022 Women’s Ride + Run Series kit is themed with ‘Making Waves’—symbolizing what has taken place in the past to progress women’s equality in sport and what is to come for future generations The colors represent both Zwift’s past and future commitment to progress in women's sport, including our 4-year title sponsorship of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
