Feel the need for speed? Want to see Watopia’s latest? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you’re in the right place.
The Zipp High Desert Speed Challenge is on the horizon.
Choose between two different course lengths (three for women) and get ready to dig deep. We’ll hook up your avatar with one of the fastest sets of wheels on the planet. Zipp engineered the 858 front and Super9 rear disc for speed. They’ll help you go faster than you thought possible.
IS THIS A RACE?
Yes. It’s a race against yourself. It’s a race against the clock. It’s a test to see where your fitness is.
If you go so hard you start seeing things, you’re doing it right. Rest your mind and body for this. You’re going to have to work smart and hard. And it won’t feel good doing it. But you’ll feel great having done it.
As a special treat, we've altered the physics of Watopia to mimic the Aguascalientes Bicentenary Velodrome in Aguascalientes, Mexico. With its smooth wooden surface and the thin air of 1887m//6,190ft above sea level, there's a reason it's the fastest track in the world. Both Vittoria Bussi's & Victor Campenaerts' records were set here, and the A & B groups will both experience these changes; the James Moore C group is stuck with old fashioned Wolverhampton, UK (aka normal Watopia) physics.
