Fresh from getting the fastest 100km World Record (not only in the 50-59 age group, but in doing so also taking the 18-49 GWR too) while clad in his Endura Drag2Zero skinsuit, we welcome James MacDonald to the Endura Renegades this week.
This will be a ride of two halves, as we'll take the first lap of Tempus Fugit nice and easy at around 2.6 w/kg to allow for chat and questions to James on his World Record, his training, clothing, nutrition, set-up or even his upcoming 24HR record attempt. For the final lap, once everyone is behind the Yellow Beacon, we'll allow things to heat up a bit for those that want to see if they can hold James' wheel for the last 15km or so. And for those that don't, they can either stay with the Yelow Beacon at up to 3.2w/kg, or just chill and watch the desert scenery drift by at their leisure. It's not a race until the Yellow Beacon says 'Go', so keep your legs fresh and stay firmly in the blob until then.
