Old Dog racing presents a series of short scenic gravel races ideal for beginner and
intermediate riders. Perhaps you are new; maybe the old power station isn’t delivering the watts
anymore, or the knees are just a little too creaky!
Come and join the fun in six weekly races, two start times, Wednesdays 5:30 pm Eastern and
Fridays 5:30 pm Pacific, If you race both times in a week your best finish will go towards your
points total.
The Closely spaced non-standard categories are:
A 3.4 - 4.0 W/kg; B 3.0 - 3.39 W/kg; C 2.3 - 2.99 W/kg; D 1.8-2.29 W/kg and E 0-1.79 W/kg
All riders will be visible to each other with a staggered start…Category E will speed off first and
subsequent categories 15 seconds each later.
Try and hang on to passing riders for as long as possible, stretch yourself!
Power ups to help you along your way include: The van, the steamroller and the feather
If you find yourself alone, enjoy the scenery and clock up another route badge.
Points awarded to each category in every race are: 25, 20,16,13,11,10,9,8,7,6 and 5 very
generous participation points!! (You have to finish!).
Highest accumulated points in each category wins the series.. you’re going to have to wear an
HRM and have a Zwift Power account in order to be awarded points.
