The BMTR Chase Adventure event encourages participants to explore their personal power map, focusing on Zones 3 and 4, while fostering collaboration and support among teammates.

Ride Leaders will oversee Team Categories B, C, and D to ensure they maintain the advertised average pace while optimizing each group's efforts. Team Category A will be responsible for self-organization.

**How The Chase Is Set Up**
Teams will start at intervals: Team D first, followed by C, B, and A. The aim is for A, B, and C to catch up to the teams that started ahead by working together. If faster teams catch up to slower ones, riders from the slower teams have the option to join the faster group to increase their effort; if they can't keep up, they can return to their original group and try again next week!

**You Can Switch Teams During The Event**
You have a 30-minute Late Join period to switch teams if your current team isn't at your desired pace.

**How The W/KG Ranges Are Calculated For Each Category**
The average watts-per-kilogram (w/kg) pace ranges specified for each team represent the overall average for the entire event. During the event, teams may exceed or fall below this range. The average pace for each category is designed to keep most riders at effort levels corresponding to Zones 3 and 4. It is assumed that each rider selects a category that accurately reflects both their Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and their Zwift-assigned category.
