For the BMTR Short Adventure on Wednesday, August 19, at 8 AM EDT, we will ride in memory of Finlay Tarling.

We ride for Finlay’s family, his Welsh community, and his riding club. Additionally, we show our support for our BMTR teammate Phil Jefferies, who knew Finlay not just as a fellow rider but also as a dear friend and a cherished part of his life and community.

This is an incredibly heartbreaking loss, and while we wish we could do more, we will come together to remind them that they are not alone. We will be supporting their GoFundMe page and the surrounding community in any way we can.

At the 19-minute mark, we’ll take a moment to pause for a minute of silence in honor of Finlay.

The BMTR Short Adventure focuses on enjoying a fun group experience while participating in endurance-paced cycling. Our ride leaders are experienced, friendly, and ready to make sure you have a great experience. They'll help keep the ride fun and within the right pace for your group!

This event is mainly about "Zone 2 Endurance" riding, which means we’ll be cycling at a comfortable pace. Each category has an average watts-per-kilogram (w/kg) range designed to keep most riders in their "Zone 2 Endurance" or low "Zone 3 Tempo" zones. Just choose the category that fits your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) or the one that Zwift assigns to you, and you’ll be all set for an enjoyable ride!
