EVENT DESCRIPTION
Suitable for A & B riders as a base session. These are no sweep rides.
Ride will have a 5 min warmup at 2.5w/kg.
Examples of the drills are
5 min sets ftp, then 5 mins at 3.0w/kg repeating
5 min sets at 110% then 5 mins at 3.5w/kg
5 min sets at 140% 30 secs with 30 sec rest
5 min sets at 120% 40sec with 20 sec rest
Ride will have a 2 min mini race at the end.
All sessions will be 75 mins in total length and will be 70 mins of single speed Torque training in one gear cadence of about 60rpm.
This is an Innovation Cycling Training Ride Event – all riders are welcome. These events are put together to push you further than before, if you are feeling fresh hop on the front, if you need rest surf the draft. This training ride is part of the INC RELENTLESS training rides that happen daily with each day focusing on a different area of improvement.
