EVENT DESCRIPTION
THE RIDE
We will change "worlds" from New York to Watopia for this ride.
21 legendary hairpins, 1,036 metres of epic climbing: are you tough enough to take on Alpe du Zwift? Join Cycling Pulse for a full gas group ride up the virtual version of the iconic Alpe d’Huez as we find out just what it takes.
The ride will be live-streamed on the Cycling Pulse Facebook page so you’ll want to bring your A-game!
The ride will start off at an easy pace until we reach the bottom of the climb at which point it’s every Zwifter for themselves!
The coaching experts at Rowe & King will also be taking your questions live during the broadcast and talking all things climbing. Got a question? Head over to the Cycling Pulse Facebook page or Instagram account and send us a message, or get them into contact@cyclingpulse.com.
WHY ALPE DU ZWIFT?
In partnership with Zwift, the team at Cycling Pulse has spent the last few weeks finding out how the virtual climb compares to the real thing. After completing an intensive four-week training plan devised by Rowe & King, the team headed off to France to take on real life Alpe d'Huez. Tune in to the Cycling Pulse Facebook page and YouTube channel this Sunday, 4 November 2018 to find out how the two climbs compare!
