ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
Everyone is welcome. Keep at your 2019 fitness goals with this group workout you will enjoy. Apollo-11 is a low intensity workout designed to improve fitness and aid weight loss. Low cadence (65-80) in a larger gear will help your body burn more fat. Apollo is our most popular workout. It can be ridden for recovery or spinning as well.
10 min warm-up
12 min of mixed zone 2 and 3 (3 x 3 min blue/1 min green)
1 min of zone 3 (yellow)
4 min of zone 1 (grey)
repeat 12 min mixed zones (2 x 4 min blue/ 2 min green)
repeat 1 min zone 3 (yellow)
5 min cool-down

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS
Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
HELPFUL HINT
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
