EVENT DESCRIPTION
When it comes to Shimano groupsets, you can’t do better than DURA-ACE. The top-of-the-line road offering from the component giant is the choice of some of the fastest pros in the world. It’s also one of the prettiest.
Now you can experience the latest version (R9200) of the group on Zwift during the DURA-ACE Sportive Series. This three-stage event takes place in Yumezi, London, and Watopia. You have three days to complete each stage.
We’ll automatically put you on a DURA-ACE R9200-equipped bike.
Want to ride this groupset in all Zwift events?
Just pick up the Specialized Tarmac SL7(Level 5 and above), Canyon Aeroad (Level 10 and above), or Pinarello Dogma F (Level 32 and above) in the Drop Shop and your avatar will be the envy of the peloton thanks to Shimano’s most drool-worthy group.
Already have one of those sweet machines? We’ll automatically add the latest and greatest DURA-ACE to your rig.
Now, if only we could make that happen in real life! Just be ready for jealous stares from other avatars!
Wait, avatars get jealous?
Just because they’re not human doesn’t mean they’re not cyclists!
Is this a race?
No. But there are three different options for each ride: longer, shorter, and women-only. There will likely be fast groups, moderate groups, and social groups within each of these rides. Find your crew for the most fun.
How many stages?
There will be three stages. Each stage will be available for three days.
Is there an unlock involved?
You’re riding the brand new DURA-ACE! You want more? You got it: complete any stage to unlock the Shimano S-Phyre jersey.
What’s this whole N+1 thing?
Great question! It’s bike speak as well as an answer for “How many bikes should I own?” N = the number of bicycles currently in the quiver.
