About the Workout:
The purpose of this workout is to ultimately raise your FTP by pushing your VO2 max intervals.
Keeping equal rest to work ratio will keep your Heart rate in the correct zone for you to get the benefit of the VO2 max.
Ending with the tempo helps your body sustain the effort after very high intensity. Your legs will feel tired from the VO2 max but settle in and push that tempo.
