If you’re looking for a turbo trainer, or purchasing one for the first time, you can get yourself the optimal Zwift experience by getting hold of a Zwift Ready trainer. This means that the trainer will arrive with the Zwift Cog and Click pre-installed.

To add the Cog and Click to your existing setup, you can check if your indoor trainer is compatible by heading to the Cog and Click page in the Zwift shop and using our trainer compatibility calculator to find the Cog and Click for your trainer.

Upgrade kits are available in manufacturer-specific packs. This makes installation even easier as the Zwift Cog comes pre-installed on a manufacturer-specific freehub body. No need to faff with chainwhips to remove cassettes, simply remove the entire assembly and push the new one on.

How to Upgrade Your Trainer

1. Check Compatibility

Start by confirming that your smart trainer is Zwift Cog Compatible and that firmware to enable virtual shifting is available for your trainer model. 

2. Choose the Right Zwift Cog

Select the correct Zwift Cog and Click by entering the make and model of your trainer in the Zwift Shop.

3. Install the Zwift Cog

4. Update Firmware
