Stay ahead of your cycling goals with the latest May updates on Zwift, including customizable metrics, outdoor workout syncing, and new gear in the Drop Shop.
May is made for momentum. This month, we are focusing on giving you more control over your data and your training, whether you are riding in Watopia or heading out to enjoy the spring weather. From customizable displays to outdoor integration, here is everything new on Zwift this month.

We know that every athlete has different priorities when it comes to tracking performance. The customizable workout HUD gives you the power to tailor your view. You can now customize the metrics displayed on the center HUD, with four new fields added and 13 different metrics to choose from.
Whether you want to keep a close eye on your average watts or focus on specialized data like Heat Strain Index (HSI) from a paired CORE sensor, you can now ensure the metrics that matter most to you are front and center.

As the weather warms up, many Zwifters are splitting their time between the trainer and the road. To help you maintain your fitness goals regardless of where you ride, we’ve introduced Outdoor Recommendations in the Zwift Companion app.
By clicking the top right corner of the Next Up card, you can now toggle from indoor suggestions to a personalized recommendation for an outdoor workout.
To get the most out of this feature, remember to sync your external accounts. By connecting your Garmin, Wahoo, or Hammerhead account, your outdoor rides will automatically populate in your weekly fitness snapshot within the Companion app.
Note for Garmin Users: If you find that your recent outdoor activities are not appearing, you may need to disconnect and reconnect your Garmin account to refresh the sync and ensure those rides populate correctly.
