EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Social Spin with Human Powered Health and Thorne!
This ride is about spinning the legs out, having a good time, and hanging with friends. This is not a competition – push yourself as much (or as little) as you like! The Social Spin has rubber banding enabled, so regardless of how hard (or soft) you want to pedal, you are part of the group.
This month’s ride is hosted by Krista Doebel-Hickok of the Women’s WorldTeam Human Powered Health. After spending two seasons away, Krista returned to Human Powered Health to play a key role in the mountains in her tenth season as a professional. The California native won the Tour of the Pyrénées in 2022, was fourth in the GC of the Vuelta a Burgos, and won stages at the Tour of the Gila that same year. She was fourth in the 2017 Tour of California, seventh in 2019 and placed fifth in the Tour Down Under in 2023. As a pure climber at home in the high mountains, she is an invaluable asset when taking on some of the team’s toughest days in the saddle. Since leaving Rally Cycling, she has been developing her all-round abilities and strives to be a loyal teammate who desires to ride for an ideal beyond the sport. Her online following shows her popularity among fans of the sport as she is always keen to engage and show her life off the bike.
One participant will be randomly selected to win a Thorne Training Bundle including Creatine, Amino Complex, and Beta-Alanine to support and enhance energy production, muscle endurance, and power output during training.
Another participant will be randomly selected to win a Pactimo team jersey. This is a choice between the Pactimo Ascent Aero SS (race fit) or the Ascent SS (traditional fit).
Our Social Spin utilizes Zwift’s Rubber Band feature – this keeps everyone together regardless of ability or fitness.*
Your avatar will be equipped with the Human Powered Health fan kit and this will be available in your garage after completion!
*Prizes are subject to some international shipping restrictions. Prize eligibility will be determined by the rider’s profile flag.
