Join Team Velos for our Spring Classics series of the Monument Races🌼🚴♂️🚴🏼♀️🌸
Hilly classics in full force! This week we take on our own Liège-Bastogne-Liège with its relentless hill zones. Racers with a puncheur profile will like our route: The Muckle Yin🏴
⚠️Custom finish!🏁⚠️ We will do 1,5 laps for a total distance of 34,9km. The finish banner will be after the downhill of the 2nd Sgurr North climb.
This race will count as 4 out of 5 for GC. A great opportunity to make up some ground on the competition, or defend your position!⚔️
Eager racers can gather extra points on the following segments:
Sgurr North climb (lap 1) = FAL
Sgurr South climb = FTS
The following scoring will be used. Sgurr North and South segment points for top 10: 20,17,15,13,11,10,9,8,7,6. Finish points awarded as follows: 100, 90, 80, 75, 70, 65, 63, 62, 61, 60 for the first ten across the line, reducing by one point for subsequent finishers.
Maximum points available = 140.
