Celebrate Women Around the Globe

The Rapha Women’s 100 is back again for its ninth year! Celebrate the women’s cycling community around the world and build your endurance with a 4-week series of workouts designed by former road and track cyclist Dani Rowe from August 18 to September 11

Then, on September 12, take on 100 km all at once. Each ride will feature a leader and a sweeper so the group stays tight.

So rally your squad, encourage friends and competitors alike, and get after it while empowering those around you. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or first-timer, get ready to make lasting memories, forge new friendships, and inspire women from around the world as you achieve a collective goal, together.

IS THIS A RACE?

Nope. There’s no podium here, just a chance for you to uplift and encourage women from around the world.

ABOUT DANI ROWE

Dani Rowe née King is one of the most decorated British cyclists of all time. A three-time World Champion, two-time European Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, and the World Record holder for the 3 km Team Pursuit, Rowe was an absolute beast in the saddle. In 2018, at age 28, Rowe retired from professional cycling, and now spends her time working with sponsors, partners, and making media appearances. And that’s not even getting into her very own coaching business, Rowe and King.

ABOUT THE WORKOUTS:

Rapha Women's 100 Workout #1

Designed to help improve your ability to produce high power over short durations, this workout is useful for short, steep climbs. With brief bursts of power at 100% of your FTP, it will push you to surge through corners and to stay close to other riders' wheels on race day.

Rapha Women's 100 Workout #2

Learn the fundamentals of endurance cycling training. This workout is where we will replicate the demands of your target event—high volume at a low intensity (Zone 2: Endurance).

Rapha Women's 100 Workout #3

During this workout, you will complete two blocks of efforts—each containing a short set of 20–40 seconds to develop fatigue resistance. Then get ready to settle into a long, pyramid-effort as you steadily ramp up the intensity over 10-minute increments before slowly bringing your effort back down.

Rapha Women's 100 Workout #4

The final workout for Rapha Women's 100 is designed to develop your climbing skills with short, punchy climbs. This will allow you to learn to climb as efficiently as possible with 4-minute efforts at 95% of your FTP, at 70 rpm.
