ABOUT JORDAN MADDOCKS

I live in Bluffdale, Utah. I’ve been running for over 12 years. My favorite distance is the marathon. Five years ago I got involved in triathlons triathlon and since then have completed five half iron distances and one full. In 2015, I was the project manager for the “50-50-50” where I ran in all 50 states (5k up to the full marathon) alongside my coach, James Lawrence, AKA the Iron Cowboy, as he completed 50 iron distances, in 50 days, in all 50 states. Just over a a year ago, I set my goals towards qualifying for the Boston marathon and in April 2018 made this dream a reality at the Mt Charleston Marathon with a time of 2:49. When I'm not training I operate a retail clothing company/brand with my wife. Running has been my foundation to live a healthy balanced life and I absolutely love it.

ABOUT ALICE BERNIER

I'm a Club Vainqueurs Running Club member of 3 years. I've discovered running only 4 years ago. I fell in love with that feeling of freedom and all the health benefits it gave me. My favorite distance is the marathon! I did my first marathon in 2016 in Montreal. I qualified for Boston and will be running the marathon this year. I also started triathlon last year and my first triathlon race was Canadaman which is an extreme ironman event. I did the sprint edition for my debut, but this year I'm doing the full with a women relay team as the runner. With that same team, we arrived first women relay team at Montreal Esprit 2017 Olympic distance and we will also do Tremblant 5150 this year together aiming for another podium. If I really dig my Canadaman marathon experience in the mountain, I might try an ultra-trail at the end of this year too. Maybe to qualify to OCC ultra-trail Mont-Blanc. And finally, I'm also looking at the Himalaya ultra-trail, but I always have those huge goals! We will see how it goes this year! Stay tuned!
