イベント概要
Welcome to the January ZRacing Monthly Series!

Get ready to fly through the month with some of the flattest stages Zwift has to offer. Stage 5, a special double-up stage, starts with Stage 5a Jan 30 - Feb 5 with one lap of the Mech Isle Loop.

Stage 5a and 5b will be visible as two separate events, so make sure you sign up for both of them! Race them back to back to get the full experience, or try them individually as many times as you like.

The ZRacing Monthly Series features weekly events with a general classification (GC) that resets every month—so race your way onto the leaderboards! Complete all 5 stages, including both races during stage 5, to earn yourself the “Flat is Fast” badge.

Signing up is easy. Just pair your devices and race! Find your results at www.zwiftpower.comOpens a new window.

Stage 5a:
Dates: Jan 30 - Feb 5
World: Makuri Islands
Route: Mech Isle Loop
Laps: 1
Distance: 4.02 km
Elevation: 38 m

Category enforcement will place you in a race category with riders of similar ability for these events. More info about category enforcement can be found below.

We love PowerUps and what they bring to racing, but for this race, you’ll be racing “old school” style—aka, with no PowerUps.

FLAT IS FAST GC
Compete in all six races (including stages 5a and 5b) during January as a general classification (GC) challenge and shoot for your best combined time over the month! You can improve your time for any event by racing it more than once. Only your best time will count towards your overall standing.

So settle in for the month, turn racing into a weekly habit, and track your overall position in the series week by week here - www.zwiftpower.comOpens a new window.

WHAT IS CATEGORY ENFORCEMENT?
Category enforcement prevents Zwifters from entering a category they are not eligible for. Our goal is to increase fairness in racing. Find more information about it here.

HOW DOES IT WORK? - Zwift checks a racer's past performance using VO2max, MAP value, and FTP to determine their race category. Racers can join a category at or above their category. For example, if you are in the "C" category, you can race in C, B, or A category. But you can’t race in the D category. Good luck Zwifters!
