As Zwift is a great community Torturefest Cult & Team GIANT are
collaborating to help you get stronger.

For the Torturefest rides we have added a Twist, stronger riders will be
chasing you down. Start times are set so they can catch you in the final
segments.

Pen E is the advertised paced ride with beacons
Pen D is a 85 min pace (beacons not guaranteed)
Pen C is the 50 minute pace chase (beacons not guaranteed)
Pen B is the 45 minute pace chase (beacons not guaranteed)
Pen A is the sub 40 minute pace (beacons not guaranteed)

Alpe Paced Rides

Wanna build your Alpe pace but want a wheel to follow?
Join our rides where our beacons will pace you at 4 different advertised
paces across 4 rolling weekends, 2 paces per weekend at 8am CT and 9.30 am CT.

Hold pace until ya crack, then come back again and get to extend the
cracking point.

We deliver Personal Records / Bests.

The goal is to build up to the magic sub 60 mins for Alpe, faster and
slower riders are always welcome.

This is a rolling 4-week schedule

Weekend #1
8.00 am CT 60 min pace - Torturefest Cult
9.30 am CT 75 min pace - Team GIANT

Weekend #2
8.00 am CT 65 min pace - Torturefest Cult
9.30 am CT 70 min pace - Team GIANT

Weekend #3
8.00 am CT 70 min pace - Torturefest Cult
9.30 am CT 65 min pace - Team GIANT

Weekend #4
8.00 am CT 75 min pace - Torturefest Cult
9.30 am CT 60 min pace - Team GIANT

Pro tips

Look at your best Alpe time on Strava, there will be a segment for
the entire
climb with average watts for the entire climb. Beating that average
watts number
by 5 watts each segment is your goal for each segment.

Use all the tools in the toolbox:
• Cardiovascular = Seated higher rpm
• Legs = Seated low rpm – Great for the knees!!!
• Legs = Standing low rpm – You will crack

We go warm for the first 25%, a steady pace for the until 75% and push at
the end, start out too hot and you’ll suffer at the top.
